2025 has been a year of great joy for me and our family. A baby, a wedding, another baby on the way. 2026 promises more joy, graduations, a birth, a retirement. Endings and beginnings.
I am grateful for all the LORD has given and taken away. I’m thankful that He knows best and doesn’t answer every prayer as requested, but instead, in His infinite wisdom provides just what He knows I need.
Each season of our lives brings new opportunities. As this chapter of regular blogging draws to a close, I sit with anticipation for the next assignment, keeping expectations modest. I have ideas and ultimately give them rest in my Creator’s hands.
“Commit to the LORD whatever you do, and he will establish your plans.” (Proverbs 16:3)
“You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you.” (Isaiah 26:3)
“Now may the God of peace, who through the blood of the eternal covenant brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep, equip you with everything good for doing his will, and may he work in us what is pleasing to him, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.” (Hebrews 13:20-21)
